The Strategic Plan Development Work Group plays a key role in crafting the Citywide Strategic Plan for 2024-2028. The working group consists of members appointed by Mayor Yemi and City Council who represent diverse values and interests of the city. In collaboration with City staff, the City Strategic Plan Analyst, and the Strategic Plan consultant, the working group is split into five teams, with each team representing a key priority of Mayor Yemi’s administration – Public Safety, Infrastructure, Housing, Economic Vitality, and Community Activation. The group held its inaugural meeting on January 12, 2024, and is expected to meet through June 2024.
