Please note: an earlier version of this post referred to the closure happening on Friday, Oct. 18 until Saturday, Oct. 19 at 5 a.m. Due to impending rain, this closure has been postponed to Sunday, Oct. 20 at 9 p.m. and will conclude by Monday, Oct. 21 at 5 a.m.

Northbound South Nevada Avenue, between Brookside Street and Interstate 25 ramps, closes starting on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 9 p.m.

The I-25 South Connector Road between South Tejon Street and South Nevada Avenue will close as well. Both closures should last until Monday, Oct. 21 at 5 a.m.

The northbound South Nevada Avenue closure will occur first. It will reopen before the I-25 South Connector Road closure. These closures allow crews to move construction barriers.

Detours in place on Friday night:

  • Northbound traffic on South Nevada Avenue should take Brookside Street to South Tejon Street. Proceed to I-25 South Connector Road to South Nevada Avenue.
  • I-25 southbound traffic should take South Tejon Street to Brookside Street. Proceed to South Nevada Avenue to I-25 South.

Travelers should plan for additional travel time and seek alternate routes.
