“Jessie is a dynamic leader who brings extensive leadership experience to the role, including more than 20 years of service in the US Navy where she held various command, executive, and operational leadership roles,” said Mayor Yemi. “We are thrilled to have Jessie back on board the City team and look forward to her accomplishing great things in our strategic priority area of economic vitality.”
A graduate of the College of Naval Warfare, U.S. Marine Corps University and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Kimber served in the U.S. Navy for 24 years.
“I am excited to rejoin the City of Colorado Springs and work closely with our business community, including our amazing small businesses, to help foster a vibrant economy that benefits all residents,” said Kimber.
